The Resort
North of Hurghada, on the Red Sea, the Club Med resort lies along an extensive beach, around 1 mile long. The reliable winds in the bay,crystal-clear water at 78 degrees F and the nearby protected coral reefs are the cause of its impecable sports reputation.
It's also a haven of well-being, located in a park of 37 acres, with palm trees and bougainvillea. The turquoise color of the three swimming pools rivalizes with the intense blues of the sea and sky, contrasting harmoniously with the pink ocre of the hotel buildings.
The Club Med resort can also be used as a base to explore* Luxor and Cairo.
Beach
Superb mile long private coral sand beach. Marked off swimming area. This beach is equipped with showers, loungers and parasols and a bar.

I sampled the Oriental cuisine and absolutely loved the falafels with spicy sauce and pitta breads, the stuffed artichokes, the taboulé salad with parsley and the grilled fish served at the specialty restaurant, all of which you can enjoy on the shaded terrace looking out over the sea.
